COMMERCE CARE · MONTHLY GROWTH RETAINER

The growth partner Shopify gives its biggest merchants. For yours.

Commerce Care is a monthly partnership that runs your store the way Plus accounts are run — with a roadmap, a working cadence, and one scoreboard that matters. Not a helpdesk. Not a task list. A director for your commerce operation.

Request a seat See how the first 30 days work

Launch is the starting line. Most merchants get left there.

The site goes live, the agency hands over the keys, and then — quiet. The roadmap becomes a wishlist. Analytics go unread. Small conversion leaks compound into real revenue. You end up as your own ecommerce director, on top of running the actual business.

The merchants who grow after launch aren't the ones with the biggest budgets. They're the ones with someone accountable for the store, every month, whose only job is the number going up.

I did this job inside Shopify.

For five years I sat on Shopify's Key Accounts team, working across a portfolio of 250+ Plus brands representing over $1B in GMV. The largest merchants on the platform get a dedicated partner — someone reviewing performance, prioritizing the roadmap, and pushing growth work forward every quarter.

Merchants below the enterprise tier never get that person. Commerce Care is that role, made available to yours — backed by delivery experience at a leading New York Shopify agency and builds for brands and national tourism boards across Canada and the Caribbean.

Built for missions. Backed by enterprise.

Every seat starts with The First 30 Days.

Before any monthly rhythm begins, your store gets a full stabilize-and-optimize pass. By day 30 you have clean data, closed leaks, and a prioritized plan — not a proposal, a plan already in motion.

Week 1 · Baseline

Full site and funnel audit. Analytics hygiene (GA4, Shopify reports) so every number afterward can be trusted. We agree on the scoreboard: conversion rate, AOV, revenue, and returning-customer rate.

Weeks 2–3 · Stabilize

Fix what's leaking: checkout friction, speed, broken journeys, email capture, abandoned-cart flows. The unglamorous work that pays for the retainer before the strategy even starts.

Week 4 · Optimize & plan

Your first quarterly roadmap — CRO priorities, SEO initiatives, email program, and a testing plan — sequenced by expected impact, not by what's trendy.

One roadmap. One sprint. One report.

After the first 30 days, Commerce Care runs on a fixed monthly rhythm:

The roadmap. A standing priority list we review together monthly. You always know what's next and why it's next.

The sprint. Implemented improvements every month — not recommendations left in a slide deck. Design, development, and specialist work briefed, coordinated, and shipped.

The report. A monthly scoreboard reading: conversion, AOV, revenue, customer lifetime value — what moved, why, and what we're doing about it. Every quarter, a full business review resets the roadmap for the next quarter.

You get a director's attention with an operator's follow-through.

I hold a maximum of six seats.

Commerce Care works because each store gets genuine attention — performance watched weekly, context carried between months, opportunities spotted before you ask. That doesn't scale past a small book, and I don't pretend it does.

[X] of six seats are open for [Q4 2026].

A fit check, honestly.

Commerce Care is for you if:

  • You sell on Shopify and you're past launch — the store works, but growth has plateaued or depends entirely on you.
  • You want one accountable partner, not a rotation of freelancers or an agency account layer.
  • You'll judge the engagement on numbers, and you want to see them every month.

It's not for you if:

  • You haven't launched yet — you want a build first. See the Build offer →
  • You're looking for unlimited on-demand tasks. Commerce Care promises a cadence and a number, with implementation metered so the strategy never gets crowded out.

Frequently asked questions

What counts as included work vs. a separate project?

The monthly hours cover roadmap items: CRO changes, template and content updates, email flows, SEO implementation. Larger builds — a replatform, a new sales channel, a major feature — are scoped as standalone projects, and seat holders get priority and preferred rates.

Do you replace my agency or team?

No — I direct the work. If you have designers, developers, or an agency, I brief them, review the output, and keep delivery on time and on budget. If you don't, I bring the specialists.

What's the commitment?

Quarterly, aligned to the roadmap cycle. After the first quarter, seats continue month to month with 30 days' notice.

What platforms do you work in?

Shopify and Shopify Plus, GA4, Klaviyo/Mailchimp, and the surrounding app stack. If it touches your store's revenue, it's in scope to monitor.

Why is there a photoshoot in a growth retainer?

Because imagery is a conversion lever, and most stores are running on launch-day photos. Refreshing what customers see is often the cheapest lift available — so it's built in, not upsold.

Start with the diagnostic.

Request a seat and the first step is a short call plus a complimentary store diagnostic — a focused read on where your revenue is leaking and what the first 30 days would target. If it's a fit, we begin. If it isn't, you keep the findings.
