Canada-Caribbean Leadership Dialogue (CCLD): Delegate & Alumni

As a 2025 delegate to the Duke of Edinburgh’s Canada-Caribbean Leadership Dialogue, I joined a cohort of rising leaders exploring the intersections of governance, policy, sustainability, and diaspora engagement across the region. My participation included presenting a closing plenary recommendation to HRH Princess Anne, advocating for Dominica to host future programming. From cultural diplomacy in Bermuda to economic development sessions with policymakers and industry leaders, this experience deepened my commitment to building stronger bridges between Canada and the Caribbean through innovation, cultural identity, and global citizenship.

UNICEF Best Interest Project: Contributor

As part of UNICEF’s Best Interest project, I contribute to shaping strategies that promote safe, equitable digital spaces for children. This work informs policy aimed at protecting young users online while ensuring their rights to education, participation, and well-being are upheld. It’s a step toward building digital ecosystems that center children’s best interests at every level — from product design to national frameworks.

Toastmasters International: Club President and Executive Member

I spent two years with Toastmasters International, serving in executive roles each term, including one year as Club President. I helped lead initiatives focused on public speaking, leadership development, and peer mentorship. The experience sharpened my ability to communicate with clarity, support a team, and build a culture of growth and accountability.
