About

I'm Daniel Fadelle — the founder of DF Commerce Studio, a commerce and marketing practice for travel, tourism & hospitality.

I was raised in Dominica, lived and taught in South Korea — where I built a serious photography practice — and spent five years at Shopify managing a book of $1B+ in merchant sales across 250+ of the platform's largest brands, before moving into senior agency delivery at Barrel in New York. Today I run destination marketing for the country of Dominica, and I'm building that same practice here in Southwestern Ontario, where I live with my wife Danielle and our son Joseph.

A Five-Generation Story

My family's roots in Dominica run five generations deep, tracing back to Joseph Fadelle (1810–1896), a civil rights pioneer of Stowe Estate. That lineage is where the long-horizon thinking behind this practice comes from — commerce and marketing built to last, not just to launch. It's also where the Magot Anthony Foundation gets its name, after my parents' middle names.
